Marketing & ads attribution
If you accept all cookies, we load the Meta Pixel on marketing pages (e.g. the landing page, /about, /pricing). It sets the cookies _fbp and _fbc. Marketing pages also capture utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign in a first-party cookie called tf_attr so we can attribute paid ads to signups.
We also use Meta's Conversions API (server-side) to send hashed conversion events (signup, subscribe, purchase, creator-application) directly from our backend to Meta. These events fire to measure paid ad performance. We hash your email and user id before sending. No raw PII leaves our backend.
No tracking pixels inside the app
The Meta Pixel browser script does NOT run on signed-in surfaces (/home, /messages, /u/[creator], /studio, /admin, etc.). Conversion events tied to your activity (e.g. subscribing) fire server-side via the Conversions API regardless of cookie consent, on the basis of legitimate interest for ad measurement.
